At Comcast, our priority is being agile and moving fast to meet the needs of our customers – perhaps especially during a pandemic.
A notable example is our work to power connectivity for a COVID vaccination site in Moorestown, New Jersey at the Moorestown Mall. Comcast Business quickly activated a Business Internet solution to power connectivity at this site and make a rapid launch possible for its vendor-partner, Virtua Health.
Understanding the urgency to vaccinate residents across New Jersey, state and county agencies transformed a vacant commercial space – formerly a department store – into a mass vaccination clinic. Virtua Health stepped in as the site’s health care partner, and worked to install the proper computer systems, supported by a reliable and secure network connection.
That’s when they called Comcast Business. The team got to work immediately and sent a four-person team to Virtua to complete the work in just three hours.

With the connected infrastructure supported by Comcast Business, Virtua and its partners were able to register and vaccinate the communities they serve. Since opening in mid-January, the site has administered more than 380,000 vaccine doses.

In addition to providing support for Virtua Health, Comcast Business has delivered complimentary secure mobile network connectivity to two publicly accessible COVID-19 testing sites administered by Jefferson Health and the City of Philadelphia.
