Comcast Volunteers Join Hunt.Fish.Feed. to Serve Community Dinner in Phillipsburg

Comcast, Sportsman Channel, and Norwescap partnered to host the Hunt.Fish.Feed. national tour in Phillipsburg, NJ, providing a free, chef-prepared dinner to more than 100 local residents invited from the Phillipsburg Housing Authority and Norwescap’s Head Start program.
Now in its 17th year, Hunt.Fish.Feed. is a national initiative by Sportsman Channel that transforms responsibly harvested wild game and fish into nutritious meals for those facing food insecurity. The campaign has served over 42,000 meals across cities like Detroit, New Orleans, and Los Angeles—and now, Phillipsburg.
Chef Paul Comes, a seasoned wild game chef, led the kitchen operations with the help of Comcast Team UP volunteers, who helped with meal prep and dinner service as well. The menu featured venison tacos, southwest coleslaw, fresh fruit salad, and cupcakes donated by local bakery For the Love of Cupcakes.
Local leaders including Phillipsburg Mayor Randy Piazza Jr. and Councilman Keith Kennedy stopped by to greet guests over two dinner seatings.
“As Comcast expands our network to bring fast, reliable Internet to more homes and businesses in the Greater Phillipsburg Area through our Xfinity and Comcast Business services, we’re also bringing our commitment to the community,” said Dan Bonelli, Regional Senior Vice Present, Comcast. “Volunteering for the Hunt.Fish.Feed. initiative is a great way for Comcast Team UP volunteers to roll up their sleeves and demonstrate that commitment.”
