Comcast Joins Lehigh Valley Day of Caring to Support Community and Connection

Comcast Team UP volunteers at Lehigh Valley Day of Caring 2025.

Comcast proudly participated in the recent Lehigh Valley Day of Caring, a powerful day of service organized by the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley – bringing more than 1,500 volunteers from 60 local businesses together for projects throughout the community. Nearly 30 Comcast teammates rolled up their sleeves as part of this mission.

In partnership with New Bethany, an organization that does vital work every day to support individuals and families across Bethlehem and the Valley, Comcast employees worked to beautify the South Bethlehem Greenway, a vital community space where neighbors gather, families play, and the spirit of the Valley comes alive. From cleaning and restoring to enhancing the area’s natural beauty, and supplying water to fellow volunteers across all sites, our teams demonstrated the power of connection — not just through technology, but through service.

“Comcast may be new to the Lehigh Valley, but we’ve hit the ground running,” said Stephanie Kosta, Regional Vice President of Government Affairs and Community Impact. “We’re expanding our network to bring fast, reliable Internet to more homes and businesses, and we’re investing in digital opportunity through programs like Internet Essentials and Project UP.”

Through Team UP, Comcast’s national employee volunteer program, our teammates are empowered to show up for their communities in meaningful ways. Lehigh Valley Day of Caring was an excellent example of this commitment in action — a reflection of our values and our belief that real impact happens when we work together.
