This past March, I had the pleasure of attending the official opening of Comcast’s new Xfinity Store in Mount Laurel. The new store is a departure from the traditional customer service centers that were the order of the day in decades past and are now limited in what they can offer customers.
The new Xfinity Stores are bright, vibrant, high tech, and well-staffed with additional offerings that more closely reflect the needs of Comcast customers – customers who want to watch their shows On Demand and with mobile devices. In fact, the Store offers customers a “hands on,” interactive experience that allows them to test innovative products and services, including free apps and Xfinity Home. The extended weekend and evening hours also provide more convenience to customers.
We’re pleased that Comcast plans to open more Xfinity Stores throughout the region and look forward to their continued investment in the technology that educates and entertains us.
