On Friday, August 14, Comcast will again partner with the School District of Philadelphia and Radio One to host thousands of Philadelphia students and families at E! Day (Education Day) 2015 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the School of the Future.
We have proudly supported this event as a sponsor and participant for several years, working with School District Superintendent Dr. William Hite and others to help prepare families for back-to-school and to spread the word about our Internet Essentials program. About 30,000 people are expected to attend, and every student there will receive a free book bag with informational resources in it, including details on how to get online at home at an affordable cost with Internet Essentials.
Please join us at this special event, and we hope you will attend one of the “Mini-Internet Training Workshops” our Internet Essentials team will host on-site or enter our laptop giveaway in partnership with Radio One.
