In addition to his vision of what would become the nation’s leading cable corporation, Ralph Roberts had a vision of his community, and we are grateful to have been his partner in this work. For decades, Roberts and his family’s philanthropic leadership and support of United Way not only strengthened local communities, but also established a culture of caring throughout the Comcast organization nationwide. Because of that culture of caring, Comcast employees contribute millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours each year.
With Roberts’ passing, we’ve lost a true champion of impact. But his legacy lives on within the Comcast family.
